Thinking about seeking financial advice?

Here’s what you need to know about working with Ascent Wealth Solutions and how personalised advice can help you move forward with clarity and confidence.

While there’s a lot of financial information available today, personalised advice from a qualified planner helps you connect your situation, your goals and your resources into a clear, practical plan.

Good advice isn’t just about investment returns, it’s about helping you make better decisions, avoid costly mistakes, manage risks and stay on track through life’s changes.

It’s about having someone to guide you, challenge your thinking when needed and support you with the right strategies for your circumstances.

At Ascent Wealth Solutions, clients come first — not products.
You work directly with me, a qualified adviser who takes the time to understand your goals, values and financial position.

You’ll receive personalised, strategic advice tailored to your life stage and what’s most important to you.

I focus on education, clarity and your long-term success, helping you move forward with confidence, not confusion or pressure.

I have no hidden incentives — only your goals guide my advice, every step of the way.

I operate on a fee-for-advice model.

You’ll know exactly what services are included and the cost upfront, before proceeding.

Fees are structured to reflect the scope and complexity of the advice you need, not based on products or how much you invest.

Once I understand what kind of advice you’re seeking, I’ll guide you on exactly what’s needed.

But in general, it’s helpful to have:

  • An idea of on what you want to achieve or the problem you are facing (e.g. your goals, priorities or any key questions you’d like to explore)
  • A basic overview of your income, expenses, assets and debts
  • Recent superannuation and investment statements
  • Insurance documents (if available)
  • Any estate planning documents (like wills or powers of attorney, if you have them)

Don’t worry about being perfectly organised, part of my role is to help you make sense of it all and work through it together.

The advice process is structured, yet personal.

If you choose to proceed after our discovery call, I’ll work closely with you to:

  • Clarify your goals and priorities
  • Analyse your current position
  • Develop and model strategic options tailored to your needs
  • Provide clear advice and education tailored to you
  • Support you to implement your plan with confidence

Many of my clients find that they benefit from ongoing advice; however, if I believe you only need one-off advice, I’ll let you know and give you an idea of when you should review.

I’m based in Melbourne and offer flexible meeting options to suit your needs:

  • Virtual meetings — available Australia-wide
  • In-person meetings — available in Melbourne CBD

If you’re outside Melbourne, we can work together easily through virtual meetings.

I work with individuals and families.

Many of my clients are:

  • Busy professionals or small business owners balancing work, family and financial goals
  • Pre-retirees and retirees seeking clarity for their next stage
  • Families managing aged care and estate planning needs
  • Women seeking clear, supportive advice to take charge of their financial future

If you value honest guidance, education and a partnership approach to financial planning, we may be a good fit.
